I just watched the Intro for Shadow Hearts, and it looks great. What platform is this game for?

Playstation 2 I believe.

Yeah, that's the one problem with Shadow Hearts. People hear the name and think "I bet it'll be like Kingdom Hearts... KINGDOM HEARTS WAS CRAP" then don't give the game a chance.

I really enjoyed the original Kingdom Hearts, it was definitely a unique experience and well done considering the huge amount of licensing involved. It's a shame 2 did everything a sequel could possibly do wrong.

I didn't like Kingdom Hearts because I can't stand Disney. That and I thought the gameplay was pretty terrible.

I haven't played any Kingdom Hearts games, but I kinda want to. I enjoyed watching Disney movies at my grandparents' house before my cousins "borrowed" them all.

I don't know why people hate the KH series.  I mean, I'm not a huge fan, but I enjoyed playing Kingdom Hearts 2 immensely.  The game was made to be fun and it does its job of ensuring you have fun.

Well, maybe except for the "Little Mermaid" bit.  Ariel is hot and all, but I don't know any one who likes playing through 2 hours of you pressing the X button in a rythm game based on Disney music.

I believe one of the most underdog RPG's out there is the Shin Megami Tensei series, most notably the Persona games.  Persona 3 was good and Persona 4 takes what was good in 3 and makes it even better.

In lieu of what?  Press X and wait for half a minute before doing anything else?  If you're going to diss the button mashing aspect of KH2, then you might as well diss every other RPG that utilizes that kind of system, like the Tales of... or Star Ocean series.

Bitch I love Kingdom Hearts, I was referencing the final boss fight where you literally have to put the controller down and button mash hardcore in a finale that was totally fucking sweet.

I like RPGs with timed hit systems, like the Mario ones and Mother 3. Makes the turn-based stuff feel more involved.

It's more fun than telling your characters what to do and then just watching it happen.

Okay, clearly I didn't explain myself properly as the sniper is confused. Basically, I like having the opportunity to do extra damage on top of what the stats say I should do.
