The shading on the second one is very dramatic. Sometimes that easier than doing a natural, subtle bit of shading.

I'm going to troll for a bit and see if you've posted other, more polished stuff anywhere else. Yours is a striking style, and I'm into it.

Don't complement me too much. This is just fanart from a manga I used as a reference. I only started drawing over the summer, so I'm still not that good yet.
