Little does she know that France has plans to have her stuffed, mounted and sent overseas.

I've got to say it's one of the best home-made shoops I've seen on the forum. The lighting is almost perfect.

moderately cheap tablet

Heresy! If you find one, share the knowledge, I was thinking of getting one for Heather at some point in the distant future.

What is considered "moderately cheap"?

One that doesn't' require you to take a loan from the Japanese Yakuza, which you are unable to pay back, so they take your pinky finger as a reimbursement.

Or you could just check out http://www.wacom.com/index2.php products and find one that fits your budget.

Uhh.. I guess this would be the place to post it.

Ho'kay so, I'm now taking a class in 3-D animation, and for our first real project, we have to come up with a 30 second commercial for anything. A car, a website, a drink, a fictional/real business. Only it has to be school appropriate, so no sexual themes, drugs/drinking or violence. (So basically you can't use any ploys that real commercials use.) It'll end up being 90 frames in all, SO THAT WON'T BE TEDIOUS AS SHIT.

Anyways, i could probably just come up with some shitty fake drink or something and do this, but i was wondering if any of you had an awesome idea of what i should do my ad on? Maybe it'll make it slightly less like toture. If it winds up not being utter shit (I wouldn't bet on that...), I'll post it here.

The drink is called BLUE RIBBON'S BEST.  It's a drink targeted at bros similar to Halpford P. Lander.  Make sure to boast that it won some obscure award a hundred years ago, and that it has a really high alcohol content for beer, like 25% or so.

Nothing says "party" quite like downing a whole six-pack or BLUE RIBBON'S BEST.

In case you were wondering, the name is a combination of Pabst Blue Ribbon (which won a blue ribbon for beer like a hundred years ago, but is now on the same level as Natty Ice) and Milwaukee's Best (which was the best long, long ago, and is now pretty much the same as PBR).

A drink called 'Blast!', which can be marketed as an energy drink.  You can use the tagline 'Blast! off!" or "Blast off with Blast!" or something equally retarded.

Commercial could be someone who looks tired after running around the park/neighborhood and needs something to refuel them.  In comes a can of Blast! to recharge the tired person's batteries.

It needs to be more "in your face" for today's youth! They're all into their skateboards and extreme sports and video games! The commercial opens with Child #1 and Child #2 sitting on the side of a half pipe/generic skate park. Child #1 "I totally wish I could "shred" right now, but I just don't have the energy." Child #2 "I know, totally bro." Announcer "WELL NOW YOU CAN! BLAST! THE NEW DRINK THAT'S SO TOTALLY RADICAL, WE NEED TO CHARGE TRIPLE THE PRICE IT COSTS TO PRODUCE IT!" Childs #s 1 and 2 both have cans of BLAST! appear in their hands amid screams of awesome and gnarly and lightning bolts crackling in the air. Both chug drinks and begin doing totally bitching jumps and tricks off the assorted ramps and rails of the skate park. "THIS IS TOTALLY RAD! THANKS BLAST!" Announcer " BLAST! AVAILABLE IN A TOTALLY RAD STORE NEAR YOU!"

Modify with more hip lingo and product placement as seen fit.

Hm... This would require for me to steal children from the street and force them to act for my own gains. This may work.

Although that sounds a lot like POWERTHURST. If i wind up doing that, i'm going to have to buy a mic, because although i don't mind showing the completed product in front of the class, no way am i saying "BBLAAASSTTT OFF WITTHHH BLAAASSSTIIIIIIII" in an agressive low voice while everyone just stares at me like i'm fucking retarded. They can do that after they watch my animation.

But Powerthirst isn't a real product.  Therefore- nay- ERGO it isn't restricted by the rules set up by your teacher.

Really? Sweeeeet.

Then I need to find a way to put as much Drugs, Sex, and Violence as I possibly can within a 30 second time period, while still plugging the product.

The commercial is looking better already.

I think you misunderstand.  I meant to say that you can use the Powerthirst approach since it is a parody act of energy drinks and not an actual product.  It's not a commercial.  I never said you still don't have to go with the rules set up for the project, (and I'm going to repeat myself here) but since it is not a real product, you're not restricted from using it as reference material.
