Are there any games that are cross platformed? That would be badass if they actually made a game cross platformed between all the systems.

well, not all systems but recently Halo for the PC got an upgrade making it slightly better than the dominating Mac version. They made a Universal version of it, so PC and Mac could play.

Shadow Run for the 360 and Windows Vista are cross platformed, no one plays it on the 360 anymore, not sure about the PC.

Exclusive content is the lowest way to sell games. It's the reason Pokémon could release three copies of the exact same game simultaneously.

They don't want to sell Halo for the PC, It would die on its arse due to the plethora of vastly superior multiplayer FPSs on offer. By cutting content from the PC version they ensure that idiots Halo gamers will go for the ecksbawks version.

Money and reputation are the point. Halo is primarily, if not singularly, responsible for the success of XBox Live, a subscription-based system.

Halo + Subscription-only Access + idiots willing to throw down cash so they can hurl base insults at strangers = PHAT CASH.

In an internet-based situation, subscription and therefore access would be much harder to control and maintain.

Halo + Internets + said idiots =/= PHAT CASH.
