That's pretty depressing. I'm now terrified of talking to people who are at the vet's.

Ray Bradbury died today.

I always really liked his writing, and I think he was one of the few authors we read in high school that I actually enjoyed at the time.

Quote
And when he died, I suddenly realized I wasn’t crying for him at all, but for the things he did. I cried because he would never do them again, he would never carve another piece of wood or help us raise doves and pigeons in the backyard or play the violin the way he did, or tell us jokes the way he did. He was part of us and when he died, all the actions stopped dead and there was no one to do them the way he did. He was individual. He was an important man. I’ve never gotten over his death. Often I think what wonderful carvings never came to birth because he died. How many jokes are missing from the world, and how many homing pigeons untouched by his hands? He shaped the world. He did things to the world. The world was bankrupted of ten million fine actions the night he passed on.

Shit. :c

Fahrenheit 451 is one of my favorite books. I'm going to be bummed out by this for the rest of the day.

My dog just got back from being spayed and it's a bit funny because she's still loopy from the surgery.

After one of our dogs was neutered, the vet said he might be tired or not active for a few days, but I guess our dog didn't get the memo because he was just as energetic and playful as always the minute he got home.

I would be much more bummed about having to do all this extra work, but my company has basically given me unlimited overtime to get everything done and now this is me. vvvvvv

Edit:  Also during my down time at work I read about narcotics and their chemical make-ups, effects on the body, etc. and I still haven't been approached by IT.

Fifty Shades of Grey is now really popular at my school and by that I mean students and teachers.

That would be the erotic bondage Twilight fanfic with the serial number filed off, right?

Booked a flight to Glasgow earlier but got an error message during booking AFTER I payed via PayPal. Called the customer service, who was really helpful and payed back my money in less than 5 minutes. Tried to book the same flight over the same site again and BAM, same mistake again. Customer Service can't be reached 5 minutes before the business hours end. Fuck that shit, you've seen the last of me CheapTickets.de .
