Is it leaking or just needs to be changed due to it turning terrible after every couple of hundred miles?

If it's a Golf that means it's probably the turbo 1.8L so it really shouldn't be taking more than 5 quarts at a time.  If it's leaking, I would suggest replacing the oil pan and possibly the pump along with the filter.  If it's on account of it just turning terrible, I'd stop using shitty oil.

It's the Mazda, and it's not leaking. Going to ask tomorrow since I'm bringing it to the shop for getting new tires. One valve just popped out on saturday all of a sudden. Having a flat tire and I have to use the summer tires now.

It's cool that GM is in love with rebadging shit and calling it new.

I see.  So they were planning on running a Buick on the same platform.

Not really surprising, but I hope they planned on putting something bigger than the wimpy four banger in it.  I'll admit I would drive the shit out of that if it had a supercharged 3800 dropped in it.

From a design standpoint, I actually liked the Sky/Solstice, so this looks pretty sharp, and since it's a Buick you're pretty much guaranteed to never be pulled over for anything.

According to my old magazines, that bottom Buick, called the Velite, would have had a 400hp twin-turbo V6. I don't think it had anything to do with the Sky/Solstice, as it's a lot bigger and like I said, their two concepts didn't show up until a year later.

But the one I really like is that coupe/convertible thing right above it (in the picture with two cars). It was going to be called the Wildcat Gran Sport and have a 425hp V8. Supposed to go on sale in Fall 2008. Too bad about that.

God damn that would've been fucking righteous.  My only question is was it slated for RWD powertrain?  Because if not, and they released it, that REALLY would've been a tragedy.

Yeah, they're all supposed to be RWD. Well, I don't know about the top one as I couldn't find any information about it except that picture. But judging by the appearance, yeah, probably RWD.
