Emiya really should have paid attention to what Angra Mainyu said when he choked him in the Grail.   I mean when he said he's gonna curse him he really meant he'd curse him.  Apparently after all this his life was utter shit due to the curse though the ending might make you think another wise.

Course a lot of villian curse you you you take them out but few actually are able to follow through like the Grail/Angra Mainyu.

Well I mean the fucking thing tells him "lol gonna kill humanity but you can keep your wife and kid." Emiya being Emiya really only has one kind of response to that, killing it. Sure it cursed him, but it cursed him because he didn't DOOM HUMANITY. Not much he coulda done about that.


Also, I guess the idea is that he had just given up on killing at that point or something, but that's something that bugged me in Stay Night. Here is Emiya, literally Big Boss if he was a fallen paladin and had magic. They tell him he can't see his daughter? He'd tell them the fuck he can't. I mean I know it's just because if he did see her it would fuck with continuity and stuff, but still.

Their house is protected by a bounded field so even if he was like fuck you, he would have had to destroy the magical field then kill everyone in the house to just see her daughter, not take her, just see her. And considering the curse has been sapping away all his his power they would have killed him at that point.  Really would have been pointless.

Yeah but those people were strong enough to either neutralize the fields or had some method around it.   Emiya at that point has no real magical power to get around it so he would have been ripped apart by the fields.  You know curse and all.
