Latest Comic: An old, out of touch man tries to reconnect with his gamer youth
Ni no Kuni: Puns and side quests the videogame.Don't tell me this; it's just making it hurt even more that I can't play it until next year.
Sorry chum I've been working extra for money. I'd like to buy things but they cost way too much. :CSo lots of extra hours in the workplaice?
I think you just need to get out more.I think I preferred it when I wasn't getting out at all.
I think you guys are arguing from a point that is relative for casual gamers and younger people (our generation) who would at least have a basic awareness of vidya while Vordus' argument points more towards everyone's grandma that got you that subscription to Nintendo Power last year because it had Mario on the cover, or that one concerned mother on Fox News that says VIDYAKILLS. That or his argument is that videogames are in a mystical, impenetrable veil where no filthy casuals my enter to learn the dark secrets of Our Lord Satan.Something like that. We're a subculture of a subculture, very little of our medium reaches the conciousness of society as a whole. The man on the Clapham Ombibus will have never heard of Dante. Hell, I think I have gamer friends who have never heard of Dante.
Yeah see......I don't think that constitutes a "cult" status.2 million sales per game is a niche.
