Kharn the Betrayer

But Kharn's a pretty cool guy, not a villain.

Without turmoil (even the slightest amount) or strife, appreciation doesn't exist, and it's my belief that without appreciation, there is literally no point to anything.

Blood for the Blood God, motherfucker.

I am brah.  I know you know how I feel about Wakfu.

Oh boy! I can't wait to argue about which season has the best villain.

No dude.  Read it first.  Much better experience.  Trust me, this comic was almost tailor made for you.

On it. Now you go finish Wakfu season 2.

Well one, that has already been asked.

It's serious enough to be asked twice!

So hey, Attack on Titan is pretty fucking amazing.  I watched the first 5 episodes that are out so far, and I had to track down the source material.  I did, and it is glorious.

I keep hearing about this, and I know you guys streamed the first episode. Might watch the rest.

>Finished the newest episode of Susei, kinda of fan servicey but still not bad. Guess I'll see what /a/ thinks.

Why the fuck would you ever go to /a/.

So man. If you think the AMERICAN right ring is crazy, just wait until you read about how the Japanese right wing literally condones rape.

So it's the 'Merican right wing, but more honest?

Thank you for actually responding seriously though. It, uh, means something. You guys own, and I like to think we kind of grow/have grown as people from sharing stuff with each other, as much as posting on a forum can be said to do that, and I appreciate it, and uh yeah. Ahem.

I agree with ya, Rich. Y'all all mah muggas. And I apologize for postin' probably the most depressing thread post, but I think it's a damn good thing these things are actually getting discussed, even in a forum like this.

In a round about way, I'm asking what the fuck the endgame of capitalism/neoliberalism/conservatism is, I guess? Do you see a future for America and the rest of the world? If so, what, and why?

There is none. There is no endgoal of capitalism/neoliberalism/conservatism/liberterianism/whatever the fuck you call it, beyond the desire to be able to die knowing you amassed a fuckton of wealth and being able to say 'fuck yeah, I got mine', when you get put in the ground. There is no long-term goal, no society-wide plan, because it's a platform of ideas that are focused entirely on the individual. The 'other' does not exist, and if they do, they're there only to help the individual. The individual doesn't give a fuck about the endgame, because they'll be dead. They just want to die rich, so their kids can die rich, and so on. The rest of the world can go fuck itself.

Do I see a future for America? For the world? Short answer? No.

There is no hope. There is no great utopian dream. There is no drive for it, no burning desire for scientific and societal progress. There is no hope for a bright utopian future. Instead there's just a mad, capital-driven scramble towards the grave, and you can either rage about it or sit and watch as everyone goes over the cliff, not like lemmings, but entirely aware of what they do, but too bogged down by hopelessness and powerlessness to do anything about it.

Remember way back when when I said was playing a game with a mix of fa/tg/guys and ponyfags?

I am now DM'ing a 3.5 Pirates/Eldritch Abominations sea-based campaign for a mix of roughly the same type of people.

Stories to come.

In other news, roll20 is a fucking GODSEND, and anyone thinking of DM'ing a game should get their hands on it.
